Dog Friendly:  yes (leashed) in certain areas; Part of the Illinois River Bluff Trail is in Robinson Park and contains the Robinson Park Hill Prairies Nature Preserve and as an Illinois Nature Preserve, dogs are not allowed.

General Description: 6.9-mile (one-way) trail through
four parks, follows river bluff

OPAL’s Observations & Opinions:  With steep hills, flat sections, mature trees, bridges, creeks and even a tunnel, this is one of our favorite hikes.  The views (especially in the Fall) are beautiful.  There are four access areas so it is possible to thru hike or section hike.
