Detweiller Park is on the west side of Route 29 and Detweiller Riverside (formerly known as Galena Marina) is on the east side of Route 29. Detweiller Riverside provides Illinois River access when water levels are suitable. There are some mowed paths and trails leading to the river. Two parking lots exist with the north parking lot nearer the boat ramp. Subject to Illinois River flooding. Know before you go. Check Illinois River levels here. |
