General Description: 126-acre park on edge of town; eighth stop on Kickapoo Creek Watershed Geoheritage Trail

OPAL’s Observations & Opinions: The hills are steep and getting to the box canyon requires some creek crossing. The rock formations are similar to those at Starved Rock State Park. Go prepared and you'll be glad you added yourself to the generations who have enjoyed this local treasure.
