The preserve's entrance gate is at the northwest end of the lane. Please be respectful of neighboring landowners as this shared access lane is private property. The east section of the preserve (north of Mackinaw River) can be accessed from a small parking lot at ParkLands’ Sam Leman Canoe Launch (also known as Mackinaw River Canoe Club Launch) that is located on the west side of county road 2300E, just south of the bridge. Trails begin about 100 yards south of the parking lot.
