This is a very threatened nature preserve. This unique and rare ecotype is small and surrounded by gravel operations and a mobile home park. If any activities such as ATV use, garbage dumping, and tree cutting not done by the IDNR are observed, please contact the Office of Conservation Police at 309-214-0203 (Isaac Gerard) OR 217-782-6302.
