Detweiller Park is on the west side of Route 29 and Detweiller Riverside (also known as Galena Marina) is on the east side of Route 29. Detweiller Riverside provides access to the Illinois River. A sledding hill at Detweiller Park is a winter favorite. Detweiller also serves as a trail access point to the Illinois River Bluff Trail. Subject to Illinois River flooding. Know before you go.
